The Winter Cape

River Island cape | New Look knit dress | Ego ankle boots | Peacocks* sunglasses | H&M fedora

Since purchasing this River Island cape, I literally can't stop wearing it. Its such a statement, yet its so easy to style, so don't be surprised if you see it crop up a few more times on Unfashionable Sunday's.
Another newly purchased favourite, this knit dress from New Look, I'm getting a little bit obsessed with knit dresses, I'm already eyeing up a long sleeve version from Mango.
Of course to finish off the outfit as always my trusty fedora, and these amazing ankle boots which I picked up in the black friday sales, I was drawn to the wooden effect heels and I like how the are slightly longer than a normal ankle boot. Its all those little details.

Roll Neck & Knit Skirt

All Saints leather jacket | River Island roll neck | River Island skirt | Pretty Little Thing faux fur bag | Ego ankle boots | Urban Outfitters sunglasses | H&M fedora

I find in winter, I become a bit lazy when it comes to dressing myself. The safe bet, a chunky knit and jeans. So lately I have banned the jeans, well for a little while anyway and forced myself to come up with different outfits whilst still being weather appropriate, in my last outfit post, I mentioned how I was quickly becoming obsessed with knit dresses, well that obsession now includes knit skirts. I picked up this beauty from River Island and it couldn't be more perfect, the fit, the colour, the length and to top it off, it keeps me warm. I paired it with this roll neck also from River Island, my ankle boots from Ego and lastly this faux fur bag from PLT which I just feel ties the whole outfit together and adds that little extra something.
And of course with it being December and all, I couldn't possibly leave the house without a jacket, today's option my beloved All Saints leather jacket.

A Lush Christmas

Its christmas time, how could I not take a trip to Lush, todays a quick peek at what I picked up from the Lush Christmas range, which by the way is amazing as always. I had to restrain myself from going overboard and I done quite well, with only 5 things, which are...

How could I not pick this bubble bar up, I mean it has a jingle bell attached to it. Plus the scent of cinnamon is just really Christmassy (If thats even a word?!)

Peeping Santa
How could I go in to Lush to shop their Christmas range and not come out with a Santa, and how cute is this Peeping Santa bubble bar. Also the Candy Mountain one similar to this looks and smells incredible too

Snow Fairy
Need I say no more... I just had to, who wouldn't want a candy-floss scented shower gel with a bit of sparkle, probably quite a few people but its a must in my eyes.

I love the Butterball bath bomb, so this little guy was a must for me, I love the vanilla scent and the cocoa butter literally leaves your skin feeling so incredibly soft afterwards.

Luxury Lush Pud
The Luxury Lush Pud has this amazing lavender scent to it, Lush believes this bath bomb is perfect for banishing tension and aiding relaxation, which will be perfect for me, because as you may know I work in retail, and when retail meets Christmas its hectic. So I'm looking forward to popping this one in my bath and chilling out.

And that's all that I picked up for the Christmas Lush range, I'm not going to lie there was plenty more I wanted to try out, so I may or may not end up in there again before Christmas is over. I just cant help myself. Who else has tried any of the Christmas Lush range?

OOTD // Back to Basics

H&M gilet | Primark tee | River Island trousers | ASOS shoes | Ray-Ban sunglasses | H&M bag | H&M fedora

Finally I'm getting around to posting another outfit post, I don't know why but it just seems to me, like it has been ages since my last one. Maybe because it has, I don't know. I have been all over the place lately, I have worked too many hours and not had enough chill time, which resulted in my getting ill, again! I say again because I feel like I have spent the most part of this year ill.
But on a more positive note, I am better now and I am back with a pretty basic, yet hopefully stylish outfit post for you guys.

I showed this gilet and these faux leather trousers in a haul I filmed a while back and I have been itching to style these trousers for a while now, I wanted to keep the outfit quite basic but have a play around with different textures, I have literally fallen in love with these trousers and probably won't stop wearing them until summer.

Let me know in the comments, how would you style a basic tee?

Halloween with Lush

Sparkly Pumpkin bubble bar |  Cinders bath bomb | Intergalactic bath bomb | Karma bubble bar

So I was meant to post this before Halloween because now it seems a little bit out of place considering Halloween has passed and we are now in November but I'm just going to roll with it and drag Halloween out for a little bit longer, which I'm sure is ok with you guys, unless you absolutely hate Halloween, which in that case I'm ever so sorry.

I didn't end up getting a lot from the Lush Halloween range, I only picked up the Sparkly Pumpkin bubble bar, which is quite literally as the name suggests a sparkly pumpkin. It smells incredible and I am excited to get around to using it, however I feel like I am going to leave the bath looking like a giant glitter-ball, considering how covered I got by just trying to take these photos, but who doesn't love a bit of glitter!!

The other products I picked up was, the Cinders bath bomb which I believe is in the Christmas range, it has a cinnamon sort of scent and not only that it contains popping candy too!
The last things I picked up, where Intergalactic and Karma, I'm not going to go into too much detail because these two have been popping up everywhere recently in the blogging world, but I have been keen to try both, I mean Intergalactic just looks so much fun and Karma has this exotic orange scent which is just incredible.

Let me know in the comments if you tried out any of the Lush Halloween range?

OOTD // That 70's Trend

H&M gilet | H&M blouse | Topshop skirt | Boohoo boots | Zara skinny scarf | H&M fedora (Similar) | Ray-Ban sunglasses

If you have already seen my Autumn Haul video, you will probably recognise the mini skirt which is from Topshop and these over the knee boots from Boohoo.
I have clearly taken inspiration from the 70s trend with this ensemble, which is funny because I wasn't that overly keen on the trend to begin with, but now I have gone from one extreme to another. I mean I'm not sure if this outfit could get anymore 70's if I tried, the round sunglasses, the mini skirt, the over the knee boots, the shaggy waistcoat, the skinny tie, even the blouse and of course the fedora.

What are your thoughts on my take of the 70's trend? Let me know in the comments below..

OOTD // Fake Snake

Primark coat | Boohoo dress | Lasula boots | Forever21 fedora | Peacocks sunglasses

Lets just start by stating how amazing these ankle boots are, I have been keen to purchase a pair of snake print boots for a while now but the pair I was originally going to purchase from ASOS sadly are out of stock but not to worry because I recently came across these beauties from Lasula, I love how they add something a bit different to quite a plain outfit but at the same time they aren't too distracting.
As the weather is still ok'ish at the moment, I put a brave face on and bared my legs probably for the last time this year in this amazing raw hem denim shirt dress from Boohoo. I'm loving this shade of dark denim worn with a red lip.
To finish the outfit, I chucked on this white fur coat from Primark, I like to think of it as my polar bear coat, can you believe it was only £25, definitely excited to style this during A/W.
And of course, what would an Unfashionable Sunday's outfit post be without a fedora and a pair of sunnies.

What are you guys excited to style this A/W?

OOTD // Taupe

H&M dress | All Saints leather jacket | New Look bag | New Look pom pom (Similar) | River Island sunglasses | H&M fedora | Dotti sandals

Autumn has officially hit. Yes its that time of year, when its sort of still warmish and sunny during the day but its getting colder in the evenings and I have no idea how to dress. Do I kid myself into thinking I can still pull off summer attire, or do I dig out my woolly jumpers, thick socks and my boots?!

Today's weather was actually quite nice, so I got a chance to finally wear this H&M dress. I love the shapeless fit to this dress and the taupe colour is perfection. Its such a basic piece and so easy to style. I paired it today with my all time favourite leather jacket from All Saints an item that is certainly helping me transition in to Autumn.
As it wasn't too cold today, I jumped at the chance to wear my chunky sandals one last time before I
start digging out my boots for winter, although saying this I do think this outfit would look nice paired with some pointed ankle boots too.

Whats helping you guys transition into Autumn?

OOTD // Baseball Cap

Peacocks* dress | Zara jacket | H&M cap | Ray-Ban sunglasses | Adidas trainers

I thought I'd give my fedora's a rest today and attempt to style this leather baseball cap, which I picked up from H&M not too long ago.
I paired it with this basic little black dress from Peacocks, I love the multi strap detail on the back and its the perfect piece to pop on in the summer and either dress it down, like me with trainers or sandals, or add some statement heels for an evening look.
This jacket was from Zara, I got it ages ago in the sale and I still love it now. The oriental pattern is amazing and the bomber style and fit is perfect. It adds some colour into my predominantly black, white or grey wardrobe.
To finish the look off, and to keep the sporty feel, I paired the dress with my trusty Adidas superstars and my round Ray-Bans.

What do you prefer a Fedora or a Baseball Cap?

OOTD // Summer Co-Ord

Luxemme* co-ord | New Look fedora | Peacocks* sunglasses | ASOS sandals

I love coming across new brands or brands I have yet to hear of, so when Luxemme contacted me, I was of course excited to see what they had in store. This co-ord set is perfect for summer.
I love how the navy and beige complement each other and the pattern is so amazing. I paired the floral two piece with my tie-up gladiator sandals from ASOS, this New Look straw fedora and my Peacocks sunnies for a beachy, summer vibe. (Yes I am still holding out for summer, even though its currently raining and next week is looking pretty grim too)

What are you loving from Luxemme at the moment?

OOTD // All Star

Urban Outfitters top | H&M trousers | Converse trainers | Ray Ban sunglasses

I found this denim crop top in the sale corner at Urban Outfitters, its part of their Urban Renewal collection, which I love because you can find really unique bits like this crop top which I'm guessing originally was a large denim shirt.
I also picked up these trousers recently from H&M, I have been looking of a pair of white denim jeans for a while now but I can't seem to find the perfect pair, I am either being overly fussy or I just don't suit them.
Anyway seeing as I can't find myself a pair of white denim jeans I opted for the next best thing white trousers, I like how these smart trousers can be dressed down and I just think white is such a nice alternative for summer, although our summer here in England lasted a whole of two weeks.

Enough about the weather, anyone else think this outfit reminds them of American baseball, or is that just me?

OOTD // Band Tee

Urban Outfitters tee | River Island trousers | Bay shirt (similar) | Peacocks sandals | Ray Ban sunglasses | Peacocks fedora

I actually shot this look a couple days ago (look at me being all organised for once)
I was having a don't know what to wear day and on those days I like to just stick with what I know, which is black skinny jeans and a plain t-shirt, though to add a little bit of excitement to a quite basic outfit, I swapped the skinny jeans for leather look skinnies, these ones are from River Island and I have literally wore them to death. I really need to find a new pair but none have come close to these, they just fit so well and the material is just perfect.
I found this Joy Division tee on Depop but its originally from Urban Outfitters, I don't usually wear t-shirts that have slogans or writing on them but I made an exception for Joy Division and there Unknown Pleasures artwork, I paired the tee with this silk blouse which I have previously featured on my blog, along with.. Yep you guessed it a fedora.

Also before I go, I noticed today, that I have been blogging for 6 months now. Half a year already, its gone by so quickly and the fact that its August tomorrow as well, I mean.. what? Where is this year disappearing to. Anyone else feel the same?
