OOTD // Band Tee

Urban Outfitters tee | River Island trousers | Bay shirt (similar) | Peacocks sandals | Ray Ban sunglasses | Peacocks fedora

I actually shot this look a couple days ago (look at me being all organised for once)
I was having a don't know what to wear day and on those days I like to just stick with what I know, which is black skinny jeans and a plain t-shirt, though to add a little bit of excitement to a quite basic outfit, I swapped the skinny jeans for leather look skinnies, these ones are from River Island and I have literally wore them to death. I really need to find a new pair but none have come close to these, they just fit so well and the material is just perfect.
I found this Joy Division tee on Depop but its originally from Urban Outfitters, I don't usually wear t-shirts that have slogans or writing on them but I made an exception for Joy Division and there Unknown Pleasures artwork, I paired the tee with this silk blouse which I have previously featured on my blog, along with.. Yep you guessed it a fedora.

Also before I go, I noticed today, that I have been blogging for 6 months now. Half a year already, its gone by so quickly and the fact that its August tomorrow as well, I mean.. what? Where is this year disappearing to. Anyone else feel the same?

OOTD // White Shirts & Statement Necklaces

Peacocks shirt* | Zara vest | Topshop jeans | New Look sandals | New Look necklaces | Urban Outfitters sunglasses | Peacocks fedora

I love how casual and boyish this outfit is, I picked up these ripped boyfriend jeans from the Topshop sale a couple weeks ago. I am really liking the looser fit these days, which is strange because I have been a skinny jeans girl for longer than I can remember.
Another sale purchase, these sandals which I picked up from New Look for £11, I think they also come in white, unfortunately they didn't have the whites in my size, otherwise I might have come home with both. Girl can't have too many shoes or fedora hats in my case, I got this really nice grey one a while back from Peacocks.
Also from Peacocks this shirt, I have been on the hunt for a white shirt for a little bit now but none seemed to fit quite right or wasn't quite the right material, This Peacocks version fits the bill and is only £16. Perfect.
I have to mention this statement necklace too, I was debating whether to actually purchase this necklace, as I'm not a huge jewellery wearer but I just couldn't resist, such a statement piece yet it doesn't look to over bearing.

OOTD // The Shirt Dress

Peacocks tunic dress* | ASOS tie-up sandals | New Look fedora | Peacocks sunglasses*

I love this oversized tunic from Peacocks, I feel like its the perfect basic for anyones wardrobe as its so versatile, I have worn it here just on its own as a dress (shorts worn underneath, of course) but I feel like you could easily pair it with some baggy boyfriend jeans and a leather jacket for when its a bit cooler or tucked into a midi skirt for a more formal occasion or evening look. So many different options. I love the drawstring waist too, though I chose to wear it loose today for a more casual, beach vibe.

I'm also loving these tie-up gladiator sandals, If you follow me on twitter, you might have seen me tweet about the H&M sandals, which where sadly out of stock everywhere, but silver linings because whilst browsing ASOS, I stumbled across these identical beauties and I am loving them so far.

To complete the outfit, I of course added a fedora, my go to hat and these retro style sunnies from Peacocks and even better there only £5, yes you read it correctly, £5. You can't tell from the photos but there are a really nice brown/tan shade, perfect with a nude lip, which I'm obsessing over lately. Kate Moss Rimmel Nude collection, hellooo.

OOTD // Suede Vest

New Look vest | H&M leather joggers | Dotti sandals | New Look fedora | RayBan sunglasses

Two weeks since I last blogged.. Wow, time really does fly when your having fun or should I say doing way too many extra shifts at work.
So first of all apologies for the lack of blogging recently, not only have I been crazy busy, I have also been lacking inspiration. I have been so tired recently, I have almost forgot how to dress myself stylishly.
Good news, I am slowly getting back in the swing of things and have naughtily been purchasing more and more clothing, one recent purchase is this amazing suede vest from New Look. I love how simple it is, yet the suede material just makes it that little bit more exciting as well the colour is just amazing. I paired the vest with my leather joggers as I wanted to mix the textures and of course adding my straw fedora and chunky sandals to give the outfit a more summer vibe.
